WGOJ’s front porch (the main entrance) is in need of a complete makeover. It is surrounded by old windows that all need replaced and the front door is an old, wooden door.
There is dry rot around the windows. The windows and doors are not insulated, thus we are losing heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
We want to be good stewards of God’s money, so we feel this is a much needed project. Please pray that God will provide the finances so that we could move forward with this project.
We have contacted CBC Construction, a Christian construction company in Kingsville, Ohio. They have come to look at our porch and have given us an estimate of $13,070.00 to do this special porch makeover project.
PROGRAM GUIDE IS UPDATED
The WGOJ program guide has been updated and we are excited about introducing some new programs to the WGOJ line-up. We now have Lamplighter Theater and Radio Theater aired on Saturdays. This will add more stories for the young and young at heart.My Money Life is a two minute weekday financial help program. To find out more about these and our other changes, please be sure to request a program guide if you have not yet received one.
RECIPE FROM WGOJ
Strawberry Pie:4 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1 Cup Sugar
Pinch of Salt
2 Tbsp. Of Corn Syrup
1 Cup Cold Water
4 Tbsp. Strawberry Jell-O
1 Quart of Strawberries
Put all ingredients in a heavy sauce pan. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in Jell-O. Pour over strawberries that have been put into a baked pie shell. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Trust that you are having a wonderful summer. We are keeping busy at WGOJ and are seeing God working in great and mighty ways. Please pray as God is opening some doors for us to move forward with the web streaming of WGOJ.We are excited to see things coming together. When we start streaming over the internet, WGOJ will then be able to reach listeners worldwide with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Missionaries, friends, family and so many others will be able to hear WGOJ through their computer or even cell phones, if they have internet. They will be able to go to www.wgojradio.com and click “Listen.”
We are praying that God will allow this to happen before the summer is over. Please join with us and pray that God will provide and work out the details so that we can move forward to expand our mission field worldwide.

SHAR-A-THON
As we enjoy these summer months please remember that before we know it, it will be time for the WGOJ shar-a-thon. The shar-a-thon will be held November 10-12, 2011.Please think about what you could do for the ministry through crafts, baskets, bake goods, new items, etc. that could then be sold during the shar-a-thon to help generate money for WGOJ. If you have any thoughts or ideas that you think would help during the shar-a-thon please feel free to let us know, thank you.
GOD'S PLAN FOR SALVATION
1. All have sinned.“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Rom. 3:23).
2. There is a payment for sin.
“For the wages of sin is death;…” (Rom. 6:23).
3.The finality of death is hell.
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (Rev. 2:14).
4. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, paid our debt.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).
5. You can be saved today.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13).
